  1. GDM is better than KDM because: no C++ (gcc front-end hell, ABI nighmare, libstd madness).
    Sorry, but death to kludge.

    P.S. Evolution is written in C *and* is kludge... merely C++ makes your software a kludge automatically. Using C you have more chance to avoid the kludge syndrome, but in no case is a magic bullet.

  4. Could you add (or someone post a link) on how to install these tarballs into fedora. gdmsetup is gone, and fedora doesn't come with any great gdm configuration/setup tool.

    The tarballs come with the xml config files, but where do you put everything so gdm can use it?
