I am a Linux newbie and found that I could even get the Pesky 3Com PCMCIA wireless card to work very quickly using the great how tos on the Zenwalk site - installing the *.inf windows driver via ndiswrapper (could not get it to work properly on other distros). It is fast reliable and does exactly what is says on the tin with no fuss.
