ZTE Smooth: The First Android Phone from China - It looks like the first China phone that will run on Android is ZTE Smooth. Yup, that's the same ZTE that President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is involved with. Anyways, the ZTE Smooth was spotted at MWC2010 and looks very similar to Palm Pre.

The ZTE Smooth has a 2.8-inch 240×320 QVGA touchscreen display, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and supports UMTS and GMS radios. As you can see below, it also has a Palm Pre-style QWERTY sliding keyboard. ZTE Smooth runs on Android version 1.6 (Donut). There is no information with regards to its processor, RAM, and storage just yet.

The ZTE Smooth is expected to be released this August and will retail for about $147 USD, which will probably make it the most affordable Android phone in the market. Do you want one? Me too :-)
